iIve decided to Critique Perez Hilton's blog.
Perez Hilton is a socialite/celebrity blogger. His 'office' is in his local cafe when he is regularly visited by the celebrities he writes about. he has in fact befriended Paris Hilton who he took his namesake off.
His blog focuses on critizing Celebrity fashion and personal lives. he doodles on most of the photos on his site to make them more humorous or point out flaws.
Perez Hilton's site feature many expensive mainstream advertisements. currently the entire color theme of his site, which is usually bright Barbie pink,, is grey to promote the excessive advertising of a Holly wood movie Cloverfield.
Perez Hilton regularly promote gay celebrities and views as he himself is gay. He must have a large gay audience as there is advertisements for gay dating companies and websites.

Perez Hilton often gives his audience the opportunity to have their own thoughts and express them on his site. Most sections feature a "what do you think" , "you like" or comments section.

I like Perez Hilton's site because it doesn't try to act like he knows all the intimate details of celebrities lives like trashy magazines do he just criticizes them which what the whole celebrity news industry is really about anyway. i respect the fact that he has become really successful which is a feat in itself but also that despite the fact he is successful the content and tone of his blog has not changed.

The Last

This is my last blog to you and i hope my thoughts and the ideas and
concepts i've borrowed from others
have given you something to think about, given you some wider
perspective on life and increased you level of happiness.

i've greatly enjoyed writing this blog as every week i was forced to
examine my own attitude towards the purpose
of life and what makes one happy. i personally feel that
it is important to ever individual to occasionally ask these sorts of question
otherwise you can travel through life being unhappy, unfilled and not contributing anything to your society.

so my dear readers this is goodbye. i wish you very happiness in the world, and after closely following my blog for 12 weeks, it's completely in our power to create your own happiness.

the happiness of giving

i recently found out the joy of Giving. last week i volunteered
at a homeless shelter in Redfern. It was very humbling to give something back.
as i talked to the men who would be staying in the shelter that night
i came to realise that they weren't that different to myself.
After we made the beds the volunteers and homeless persons sat around
a table and shared some food before saying goodbye.

Treating others with the basic level of respect and compassion that all humans
deserve has the amazing effect of empowering and restoring a level of happiness to
the other person and reinforces the fact that humans are all the same
and are all inextricably link in ones own mind.

It's important to realise that humans are all in basic terms the same all that differs is our personal circumstances, which we can not always be personally responsible for.
this is why giving can be so rewarding. As we are all linked and have some level of empathy for one another seeing other humans in pain can be depressing. by giving something back and improving their situation in life one can feel better about the situation of their fellow humans.
